View from my front door..6th Sept 09

Looks a lovely view... even with the rain....

Lovely, peaceful view. I find looking at water, very calming.

Its only a 30sec walk from my house...we have seating and a kiddies play area.....Its called the 'Mill Pond' and beyond it is an old linen mill (beautiful old building) where the people of this area worked long hours, when i was a child....Both my parents worked, weaving lovely cloth...it has closed down now.......It was also home to the British Army during the Northern Ireland 'Troubles'

Lovely! - But hope the water level stays down there!

We have never had any trouble with flooding David.....The pond can be manually emptied or filled....originally something to do with the working of the mill......
