One of the few spots in the stream where you can actually see the water...this area is dedicated to wildlife (frogs, toads, newts etc) we try not to touch that side so we don't disturb them. However, that means by this time of year it's a real jungle out there!

Yes Dottydaisy, it'a a small boardwalk. My husband made it from rustic poles and decking board, it's there for acces to the far side of the pond and for pump maintenance. I'm really pleased with the water plants this year, they've really flourished. 8o)

Thanks Suey, I should tell you that the grandchilden say that it's a 'Wishing Bridge', they've even brought their friends around to 'have a go'!
