Herb bed and Fuschia Display

Herb bed and Fuschia Display

As the sun fades and the cool comes, the fuschia hit their stride and I can move them out into the open sun for a long fall display. The herb bed is a bit empty this year.

Thank you, I do appreciate the comments. All the fuschia come back inside as well as the sage and lavender. I'll just harvest the thyme and tarragon. Tarragon comes back every year, very dependably. My last cabin it was a large bush, just happy as can be. A much hotter front there. The cinder block planter holds more heat for them and they can keep from gettting too damp. I'm pleased with the herb bed.

That's a good tip, Greenthumb, about the cinder block retaining the heat. I'll have to try that.

In a rain, we can really get chilly and wet, bad for herbs. These cinder blocks have worked wonders for me, and inexpensive attractive and easy fixes. :-)
