I am terrible for it, if I get flowers bought me and I see I can take cuttings I do, especially the pinks or carnations,on pinks or carnations I just cut straight just under a node, then from the top with just 2 leaves either side and snip of a little from the top of the leaves left, I normally get quite a few cuttings off one flower stem.
