Lily - are you sure that this is Plumbago?? I suspect that it's Ceratostigma - probably C. plumbaginoides? Is it a hardy shrub growing outside? Dies back in the winer, then comes back in the spring?
Lovely anyway - I've got it too!

Of course you're right Barbara, it is the shrub. I couldn't remember the proper name at the time but I must admit I thought the common name for it was plumbago!

Ooops! Never mind. Ceratostigma belongs to the Plumbago family, so you could well be right!
I saw Plumbago in Italy - they are so lucky to be able to grow it outside all the year round. It's a climber - and a paler blue. Beautiful plant! The flower clusters are very similar...
