They'll really lift a shaded area.
I use Caramel and Creme Brulee to do that too.
You can't beat them for this.

There were dozens and dozens in the garden centre when i went at the weekend.
It's the time of year when they come into their own, colouring our dark and slightly gloomy areas :)
