26 Sep, 2009

Sorry Madam, but terms and conditions clearly exclude dribble, swooning, and other excited behaviour (eg knocking over coffee, loss of dignity and jumping up & down). ;o)

Is he as nice as he appears to be JJ ? (Alan not hubby ! lol)

26 Sep, 2009

Nice picture, I won't drool I would drool more over his garden than him lol . I prefered Tommy .:o)

26 Sep, 2009

Yep San, I'm out of the closet, I'd forgotten that you hadn't seen me before!
Hope it's not too much of a shock for you all, I expect you thought that I really looked like my avatar, it's much better than the real me!
Hi Di, calm down dear, I wouldn't want you to get too excited and use all your energy, you've got a blog to write and we're all waiting for the next chapter....feel free to use the pic!
(Bet she get's it blown up to poster size for the bedroom wall!)
Sue, he doesn't disappoint in ANY way!! He's a quietly spoken man who puts you instantly at ease, a real gentleman. Patient too...holding babies, kissing old ladies and a smile for everyone. I asked him how he kept smiling, he told me that "People are quite nice really", and gave me one of his lovely smiles, at which point I forgot entirely what it was that I'd planned to say to him....Duh!!!
My husband came to the rescue and spoke a few words with him while I tried to mop myself off the floor ( told hubby it was one of my hot flushes!)
Talking of hubby, he has now got the biggest head from all your lovely complements, which I must agree with BTW, but I think I'll ban him from reading any more, just in case his head swells too big to get through the door! ;o)))

26 Sep, 2009

maybe your hubby would be entitled to a grant for an extension to house his ego lol

26 Sep, 2009

Hi Morgana, Tommy Walsh is lovely isn't he, nice chunky hunky man and pretty handy to have around, he can nail my decking any day! ;-)))
Maybe he could build the 'ego' extension Irish LOL !!!

26 Sep, 2009

is this the Alan and Tommy appreciation society lol
can i sign up please :-)

26 Sep, 2009

It certainly is Irish, they are both VERY much appreciated here!

26 Sep, 2009

He is lovely and has a far better nature than Alan, he is up for a good laugh too. Hey ladies I mentioned him first lmao.

26 Sep, 2009

im already in the q :-)

26 Sep, 2009

you look lovely JJ, a happy pretty face

26 Sep, 2009

Awwww San now I'm blushing again,... or did you mean my avatar???! LOL
Now now ladies, no pushing in the queue please! ;-)))

26 Sep, 2009

lol no not your avatar JJ

26 Sep, 2009

Fancy blaming the 'flushes' when you were having a drool moment !! lol :-))

26 Sep, 2009

You're too kind San thanks, good you can't see me now 'cos I've been having a wrestling match with a thug of a bamboo today and i think IT one...phew!!!

26 Sep, 2009

oh dear, any scars JJ

26 Sep, 2009

Only my pride San...it hung on for dear life but when I finally put my wellie in it snapped and I was ROTFC (rolling on the floof crying), hope nobody saw! LOL

26 Sep, 2009

aww poor you, they are strong though, you will be aching tomorrow, have a good soak

26 Sep, 2009

Soak, a glass of wine and Mr Titchmarsh's book I think. ;o)

26 Sep, 2009

Don't have another 'hot flush' in the bath JJ ... you'll drown !! lol

26 Sep, 2009

26 Sep, 2009

Glug gurgle gloop choke splutter.......What was that Sue, I couldn't hear you...I was having a drool moment.;-0

26 Sep, 2009

Night San, take care.x

26 Sep, 2009

Nice to see you Jen! Hi Gary!
As for the other one..... I STILL prefer Sven Wombell!
Or Tommy!
So did Gary fall for the hot flush ruse????

26 Sep, 2009

Only thing I drooled over was the name Cadbury (which'll be why Mr T's wearing a purple sweater?). Is this the garden centre at Bournville, Jen, or is there another one? You know how I need all available facts relating to chocolate!! :-))

26 Sep, 2009

Naaaaah, he knows me too well Marie! Jungle Jen doesn't get flustered that often, he spotted it a mile off !
Sven however, well that's a whole different ball game Woooooo!
So that's :
Mr T........3 votes
Tommy....2 votes
Sven........1 vote
PS Nice to see you too,but you're much younger than I imagined, love the ribbon bow, awww you were so sweet! ;o)))

26 Sep, 2009

Honestly David!! One track mind! Unlike us lot! LOL!

26 Sep, 2009

LOL Jen! Thats a VERY VERY VERY old pic!!

26 Sep, 2009

Jen, you can give yourself a vote from me. :-))

LOL, Marie!! :-))

26 Sep, 2009

Mention chocolate and up he pops...Hello David! My friend said that about his jumper too- great minds etc!
This is Cadbury Garden Centre at Congresbury, near Weston-Super-Mare, It's a beauty, but on the expensive side. You could spend a day there easily....the range of plants is amazing and extremely diverse, aquatics, pets, koi pools, beautiful gardens, water features, childrens adventure playground complete with pirate ship, hard landscaping and a decent resaurant/bistro. Did I mention that the staff are knowledgable and very helpful and the toilets are clean!
So, if you're in the area it's a great place for the kids too. :o)

26 Sep, 2009

Woooooo...I got a vote!!!!!! (that's a first!)

26 Sep, 2009

What you LOLing at, David???

26 Sep, 2009

Oh, I forgot...and they sell books, but this bloke keeps scribbling his name all over them.

26 Sep, 2009

Vandal!

26 Sep, 2009

LMAO...Vandals everywhere, I hear that someone called Muriel has done graffiti all over the toilet ceiling at Indy's Uni too, disgraceful!

26 Sep, 2009

I know! Its terrible! I cant imagine why they do it!

26 Sep, 2009

8-)

26 Sep, 2009

I mean, a woman taking the time to paint the ceiling of a mensroom, or was Indy in the Ladies' ????????????

26 Sep, 2009

i like his purple jumper.

26 Sep, 2009

Nearly missed that one Marie- naughty Muriel/naughty Indy, a bit of both i suspect?
Me too Suey, David said it was because he was at CADBURY Garden Centre, I hope nobody rips his wrapper off!

26 Sep, 2009

With absolutely no offence intended, perhaps the "vandal" was dyslexic/desperate/suffers from IBS or SI? (Indy's Takeaway comes to mind here). In which case, a lav would be a real "Godsend". Imagine this were you? You would truly be sitting on a "throne", head uplifted in relief towards the ceiling, and thinking, "Praise be for this place! " and make a vow to turn it into the next Cistern Chapel.

Hmmmph!! Louise1 lives in W-S-M, and didn't even think to mention this GC!!!!! Many Thanks, Jen, for this clarification:-))

You got my vote, because you are the most radiant, and happiest-looking in the group, because of your brill suggestions of plants for our garden, and because you have a brill garden with brill plants................(OK, now your free trial has run out) - :-)) XXX from us

Wrip my wrapper anytime!!!! nothing that a bit of "gold" leaf can't be rubbed over with, and don't "give a fig" anyways!!!!!

Marie, was LOLing at your LOL re female one-track minds! LOL!!

27 Sep, 2009

I didn't know this was happening David, honest :/
When you visit this area again i'll take you there, deal ? :)
Can't promise to get AT there though to meet you !!!

27 Sep, 2009

LMSO David! It's true...The 'Cistern Chapel' au Bangor, is a throne fit for a King (or Queen!), maybe Michael Angelo had also indulgeded in an Indycurry. Must have been too hot for him and laid him up for a few days, I expect he got bored and started doodling!
Thanks for the vote though you guys (shall I pay you now or later!), I love the way that you're involving the kids with the garden, and I'm more than happy to help with ANYTHING involving chocolate, including "wrippingwrapperunwrapping" if I'm feeling MARSterful and MALTEASERish!
Keep going with your AMAZIN ideas, gardening's no PICNIC but good AERObic excersize. Don't overdo it though or you'll have a mutiny on the BOUNTY! ;o)
We could have a West Country GOY meet at the GC Louise, there must be other GOYers in the area?

27 Sep, 2009

If anybody's interested I've put a link below for the GC (hope it works), they often have family days, bbq's, demonstrations and guest appearances, if you live within striking distance it's well worth a looksee. :o)

http://www.g-l.co.uk/stores.asp?store=Cadbury

27 Sep, 2009

I'd be there for a GoY meet Jj.

27 Sep, 2009

Great Louise, it'd be lovely to meet you! Do you know of any other GOYers in the area?

27 Sep, 2009

Have PMd you Jj :)

27 Sep, 2009

Haven't met Mr T yet,,,,lol......but he has visited The Alnwick Garden and the gardeners said he was fab....down to earth....and one of the lads! (quiet drool):)))

27 Sep, 2009

Down to earth! LOL......
Absolutely agree with the gardeners Amblealice, he's lovely and kind too, he also autographed our entry in the Yellow Book for us! Wish I'd had my hair done now, didn't think it'd be on 'view' like this! :o)))

27 Sep, 2009

You look great, so dont worry Jen!
As for mr T , he's a great gardener, but he definitely doesn't make me drool!!
That was really nice of him autographing your entry! What an endorsement!! Did you invite him round to see it??

28 Sep, 2009

It's the gardening that interests me too M, I just like his style - relaxed and uncomplicated.
It was kind of him to autograph my Yellow Book ,because there were signs up saying NOT to ask him to sign anything other than the books he was promoting.
He asked me where we were from, I told him and said for him to pop in for a cuppa! He said that he might well do that when he's next in Bristol, and what was I doing at the garden centre when I should be getting the garden ready for opening!
LOL Good point really. ;o)

28 Sep, 2009

LOL! Cheeky B!

28 Sep, 2009

Gary gets my vote, what a lovely smile!
AT ...nope never fancied him at all!!!

29 Sep, 2009

I notice you're wearing the widest smile of anyone in that pic, junglejen! Though I fully understand why - 2 lovely looking blokes, and cadburys and plants;-)

29 Sep, 2009
