Tortoiseshell on purple Aster..26th Sept..09

They like your garden Motinot .. it's the lovely vibrant colours , it's still a Tortoiseshell . .. :o)

Goodness you got close without it flying away...must like having it's photo taken! Beautiful Motinot.

I did get fairly close Fluff, but i also used a bit of zoom on the camera....:>)

I find if you creep up behind them with their antennae facing away from you they don't spot you & you can get quite close...my zoom sometimes just makes things fuzzy!

If it's the same one in all the pics it must feel as though it is being stalked, lol.

It is the same one Wagger...or should i say same two......:>)
