You have a very pretty garden, your neighbours must like you for providing them with such a nice sight.
Your wife's doing a great job too :-)

I'm a little sad now, because it's nearly all gone. I've moved most of it that was on the drive. The green bits are in the composter, and the fuchsias are cut down and the dahlia tubers, well some are going to be prepared to keep and others will join the composed Frank

I've just noticed how I've spelt compost.

Lovely garden Frank, such a lot of loving work, your neighbours are lucky. By the way I like the idea of your plants being composed, and in a way at peace; sounds much nicer than being composted! :-))

Don't be sad - you can 'compose' another beautiful garden for next year! :-))

Hi Spritz You wouldn't beleive it but last night I lay awake quite a while planning the front garden. The ideas just kept on coming. I think I've hit on one, (if I don't change my mind .) It involves a large water tank 3x4ft cut into 3 or 4 rectangles. I'll let you know as time goes on. Frank
