Thanks Yorkshire and Sueb - only planted these bulbs around 4 weeks ago and one is already flowering! Think I'll have to get some more of these.

Beautiful.....Is this a hardy bulb Bernieh?...

Quite hardy over here Motinot. They're a perennial. They prefer a cool to sub-tropical climate. They are frost tender but can be grown in climates that receive only light frosts, as long as the bulb is protected in winter with some mulch. They like full sun and they do very well in pots.

First time I've grown them Simbad and I just love them already! Will be getting some more - I'd rather have a larger clump of them.
