In front of the Croton is a Iresine lindenii - Bloodleaf shrub which is native to Columbia, South America. This is one of many cutting-grown plants from my 5 foot shrub. They are widely used here as filler plants/shrubs.

Yes, Bloodleaf had incredible colors in the leaves...especially when the sun is in the
back of the leaves.

Aleyna, thanks! Yes, most of the my plants are tropical in origin,however, they have to deal with our very limited rainfall.

Great front garden - it's got a definite tropical feel about it. Love the palms and that croton - is that smoke bush in front of the croton?
