Thank you Louise, We have two of these and they were very late in flowering but they just keep smiling at this wind and cold! :~))

It's very late! Mine finished flowering a month ago!! The flower buds are edible, in case you're ever feeling peckish in the garden.....

I like the pale peach colour of this :o)
I wonder if the buds taste like peaches..Lol.

Well if you ever do, Sarah, then let us know as I have no intention of trying them either. If I get hungry in the garden I just eat a flower off my cheese and salad bush (or is that the fridge?)

My parents call hawthorn the bread and cheese bush - is that what you've got a wonder ;-)

Aparently, different colours of Hemorocallis taste slightly different. They are meant to taste peppery I think. Maybe the yellow ones taste of custard ;-)
