Hi Bernieh...........when we bought the place there was an old concrete pond that leaked...........so when we renovated we put our broken slabs and bricks in the pond.......... stood the pagoda over the old laundry trough with the pump in it. the water falls over the pogoda and into the trough below, splashing the surrounding stones and slabs.
I didn't want a proper pond because of small children and water don't mix.

Sensational idea - it certainly looks great and I can imagine the effect it creates.

I do like this idea a lot. Well done Star.
Once established a-while I'm sure a green patina will cover everything - which can be easily sprayed off at the beginning of the season.
I covered a 6,000-gallon tank with steel mesh covered in blue slate - so I'm able to 'walk on water'. A bubble fountain rises up through it for refreshing sounds. Totally safe and I can use it to water the surrounding plants.

This is very nice - love all those stone slabs around the water feature. Does the water trickle over the stones as well?
