One of our frangipani in bloom. The plants put in last year about November are now having their first flowers and they are beautiful. We are waiting on six more that hopefully will flower.

Tar! I just had to change the name as it is called Cooktown Sunset and not Darwin Monsoon! Will post a photo of Darwin Monsoon which is also a lovely bloom :-)

Well it's a very appropriate name considering your spot in Oz. Sounds like you've had great success with these new plants.

Yes we are very pleased with this one. It has a lovely perfume as well. We certainly aren't experts on frangipani. We've always had a couple of frangipani trees as they are very hardy plants but this is the first time we've got so many varieties and at last count we have 23 different colours or types. They are all hybrids or cultivars and some have yet to flower and we await the new blooms with interest.
