He is a lille sweetie, how much longer will you care for him Pam!

I think I will have to keep him until the Spring Carole, the weather is changing and I don't think he would make the Winter. I have him on vitamin and calcium drops which all my birds have twice a week and hope that if I feed him up well, he will be fit to go next year when it warms up. I am hoping to release Waif then, I don't want to, I just love that bird, but I can't condemn her to a life in a cage when she is so fit.

Thanks everyone, he is a little cute bird, he should grow a lot bigger over the winter. He wouldn't stand a chance against the Crows at this size.

You are doing a wonderful job caring for Waif and Zeus and Im sure you will be rewarded when you see them fit and well in the springtime ready to be released. xx

Being passionate about birds is GOOD.....you are doing the most fantastic job. I reckon that the mark of a truly civilised country is found in it's over all treatment of animals....and I think we still have quite a way to go! Good on you....Zeus looks so happy and safe, now.

I agree entirely B and I don't think it will ever change, but we can try can't we? This is why I have so many abused and unwanted Parrots and other birds here with me.

The weather was fine. I'm blending in with the natives .... as we say in Brum !! lol !! Lovely place ... only two blogs so far!!! Zeus .... handsome fellow .....must be the Greeks Pam, but at my age I just don't bother any more ..... BUT ..... they are just SO handsome !!!! (Nothing like window shopping and remembering !! lol)
