There's about 25 old tall Sago Palms in front of this old
apartment builidng next to Balboa Park. Photo taken

Yes, they do...there's female and males mixed
together. some even have many stems or
multiple trunks.

Sago palm cycads are very widely grown throughout CA.

They're pretty slow growing...they take many years to grow to this size, even here.

Large ones are commonly available for sale...however, one will have to pay a very hefty price.
