Liriope muscari

Liriope muscari (Liriope muscari)

This is the first one I planted - four years ago. It has the most flowers on it this year - more than in previous years.

I threw out my old, non-flowering liriopes and bought new ones this spring. They are not flowering either - grrrrr :-(

Oh Andrew - I wish I could suggest something to help! I read a magazine article and you are doing all the right things - I just don't understand.

I bought two L.m. 'Variegata' at Malvern - little ones, so they're not in the soil yet. Another one off the wish-list!

Our tour leader to Holland was Chris Bailes, curator at RHS Rosemoor so I asked his opinion. His suggestion is to give them dilute tomato feed in July. Yet another expert and yet another opinion!

Worth a try, though! Fingers crossed.

I'm glad I read this: I was about to post more pictures of Kew's Liriope as they are still flowering their little hearts off.I want to keep Andrew as a friend!
