Its lovely to think they chose to visit your garden, I always feel special that I can see them and no one else bothers to look except my 4 yr old grand daughter and my self nor the neighbours to busy with the verbal about some one else, their loss not ours.

your right i think im the only one that takes any time with the birds, close by anyway, but more for me lol

21 Oct, 2009

Thats right lol they will visit your garden especially if you have climbing plants or shrubs where they can hide or even nest, they will study even bird boxs go round and check them out more than once to see which is the best for protection and feed.

I have sat in my wheel chair watching a blue tit looking and inspecting my bird box at the top of my garden, it flew away after about 15 minutes returned and then went inside it, looked around then flew off, as I never had a nest it must of decided to chose another but the cats walk along the top of the fence and its hung on the fence, so I have now trailed honey suckle along the fence and covering the bird box.

thats interseting morgana, i have lots of differant ivy climbing all over the back fence behind these trees, and also cyprus trees behind that in neighbours so lots of prtection for the birds there, i hear lots of tweeting in the plant life,,

Yes or if you get thick trellis on a fence with a plant climbing up they will make nests behind the trellis. If you have bird box s make sure each year they are cleaned out less they will not nest in a dirty box .
