got 2 of each of these for my bad area, which isnt looking as bad now lol
to the left is carexbrunnea jenneke and to the right is baby blue/dwarf conical blue conifer, these two in the soil and the other 2 in the stones just below slate rocks as in my blog

thanx Terra should look better next year as some other plants inbetween have died back now, you may just be able to see the tip of one just in front of the blue conifer, so when all up in spring will fill the gaps nicely :o)

Yes make a compost out of it don't put sticks wood or couch grass in a compost. Twigs wood takes ages to rot down, egg shells,news papers are good too, in layers between.
