Just a little warning Ian - be careful with the Opuntias. They have lots of small spines called glochids and can be irritating if you get them in your skin. When you repot them try to hold them in a length of folded newspaper, or hold them by their roots gently.

I would nt like to have one of those spikes go in me nice one though.

Another Opuntia. Keep it dryish for the winter. I water mine less at this time of year and then from mid Nov to end of Feb I only water them about twice.
By less water I mean less frequent waterings. I always give them a good drenching when I do water them. Cacti don't like dribbles that only wet the surface. Give a good watering and then let them dry out before the next one.
I recently wrote a blog on repotting a large cactus and I have another one on cacti in general - that's more about my own ones really. Have a look if you like.
