Across the way, you can see that snow still clings to the north side of the hills. Angel rock exposed like the bones of the mountains side. This is all volcanic formation, a hot springs bubbles up just 6 miles north of here.

Lovely shot. Hot springs are the best Hywel - I've sat in some over in the Northern Territory here downunder. Sooo ... relaxing - when you find the right spot with the right temperature (some spots are way too hot!)

I have, its a nice one. Hot enough to soak out in the cold when the northern light has a show going. I''ve been out at -15 soaking in hot water and mist. Here's a link to see it. Hope it works.

I've had a look . It was interesting to read.

They do more self-sufficiency things there now than just hot springs stuff. But neat place to visit. :-)

A nice place, just 50 miles north of my house. I do need to make a summer visit to the greenhouses, but they are more the heat idea than the exotic plant idea. There is one called Manley hot springs where the pools are inside a greenhouse. That is one I must visit.
