Primula Vulgaris (Native Primrose)

I love primroses lovely white ones as well

These pop up all over the garden :-) It looks white Morgana but the flowers are actually yellow.

They are still lovely

The native ones are my favourites.

I used to have these in my old garden and bought some with me but they don't like my heavy soil. They area really pretty.

Thats a shame Gee, I have lots of clay but they seem OK at the moment.

These are one of my favourites as well Dawn , I have several plants in the garden , I haven't noticed any in flower at the moment , i'll have a look next time i'm out ..........

They are so bright, arent they Amy. I wonder if these are flowering because I moved them around in the Summer.

Jane here Dawn....my all time favourite native primrose.Think Spritz has native pink ones too which we dont get around here !

This is the one I like the best and have a good number of. You can't beat the native ones.

They seed easily too - sometime even in the lawn.
