Is it a climber?

I'm not sure Spritzhenry, there are 4 which look similar (but are different colours) here and another 4 in the front garden, how would I tell if they are climbers? I'm starting to wish plants had lables hehe!

I think that's what's confusing me, Bscott. Elle - if it's a climber, you'd know, as the shoots are very long and floppy if not tied on to wires or a trellis. The bush roses might be a bit spindly, but they don't send out long, long stems.
