Thnk you both . unfortunatly the*******orange footed scrub fowl liked it as well , dug it up and chewed the bulb,I HOPE MY OTHER CALADIUMS SURVIVE.

Doesn't it make you want to pop your top! Have lost a few plants here to the scrub turkeys - hubbie does a cull every year but they always come back! There must be a lot of them around here just hiding away until the others 'disappear'!.

The scrub fowls and brush turkey are both gardeners pests, Only problem they are protected species. I would like to strangle them at times.

Snap - mine is enormous this year. I just love the bright red on this caladium - been around for so long but still a beauty in any garden.
