Oh no ! It's half past two in the morning and I've been meaning to get off this site for a cup of tea and a biscuit for the last hour or so. . . . and now look what I've found ! Well a biscuit just aint gonna do it anymore. Is that mashed swede ? With black pepper and butter ? Aw, Mad, you tease !!!

My daughter made that dinner and that one was my hubby's. He demolished it in minutes. I couldn't eat that much. Yes Muddywalters it was mashed swede. Hope you've had a good sleep now! My daughter was pleased to hear how you all admired her dinner!

Pamd it wasn't just like that, we didn't have yorkshire puds. We had turkey, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, brussels sprouts and carrots and gravy. Yum-yum. Even though I cooked it and not my daughter like that other one.

Yes this site is great for me, as I can't 'do' anymore, but I can look and feel excited about other people's plans and projects.

Yes we had a lovely Xmas dinner also thank you, at my son & daughter-in-laws. My son cooked it, it's the first time we have been to dinner with them, even though they've been married some years. It's just never happened. They have three young sons, which made it all the merrier.
