Picture 1 of new garden, before I got my hands on it. The escallonia is now gone and the raised bed has been turned into a veg plot.

Thanks. The fence is courtesy of our next door neighbours. The border between our properties is actually about a foot our side of the fence (weird!) and we are not allowed to grow anything against it. Not a problem with it looking so good.
