Fall Sunset of the Hill

Thought I'd share the hillside over Henry's field. There are little neighborhoods here, and there are regular big houses too. :-) The colors were so wonderful this year.

The hills do have a different look. This is what all south faces look like, expensive property with larger cleared lawns. They get sun even in winter and higher temps higher up. This was close of fall, the orange is really the red of bare birch stems in the yellow leaves.

Oh that is wonderful...they stay red when it is all white with snow there too?
