My Cyclamen "Blog"

~ love Cyclamen Jacque~got several containers round the front but have never got round to taking pics! love that faint perfume!

They have Perfume??? i best go& have a snif BRB :)

MMMMMMMMmm yes a Very Subtle Smell :)

~Our local Wyevale usually have a lot under cover this time of year and when they are en masse the smell is really pronounced~~will have to go and get a couple of indoor ones!

O i bet they look stunning in a masse to Arlene ? :)

Amazing~sometimes they keep all the colours separate outside~ probably as they have had the trays of plants delivered~ so that you have colours ranging through from white and shades of pink through to red and deep purple and inside they usually have a stand of the bigger plants where the colours are totally mixed and that looks just as pretty!
I was lucky to buy a tray of 15 for £10 when we were at Malvern and you could choose your own colours. Everyone was there for ages as you couldn't make your mind up!
I had them tucked under the porch at the front but we have had such a lot of heavy rain they are going off a bit now.Will have to replace some of them probably so will have a look at the little hardware shop that has a small nursery out the back this afternoon.

They sound Lovely :)

A gorgeous red Jac just love thes plants the leaves are so attractive too and have a quite a few in pots and baskets.

Some of the indoor varieties have been able to be planted out Jacque saw comments from members saying they d survived ..lovely plant .

Hi Jane/Ray good 2 see u X Id like to keep this indoors will it be ok u think?its not in any heat & on a Shaded window sill :)

Of course Jacque should be ideal .. we only have the small woodland cyclamen outdoors but recall reading some had planted out pot cyclamen and they d returned .

A large house on the outskirts of village has huge carpet of them growing through trees. They might not mind me shinning over the wall to get a closer look ...
