This is named 'Peace' here. It was introduced in France in 1943 as Mme. A Meilland, in Germany as Gloria Dei and in Italy as Gioia. Budwood was smuggled out and it was introduced in America under the name Peace in April 1945 on the day Berlin fell and the war was pronounced over. Isn't that wonderful?

Yes, Wagger, and sometimes it's called "The Rose of the 20th century",isn't it? Thanks for the right name!
