I was guided by my parents on this little trip around southern Utah were they now live. I love this as their favorite colors are yellow and blue. I has deep in the sand, my feet burning at 110F

No, this was from my vacation in the summer. I waited until we went below 0F to post. Warms me up. :-) It is still only 70'sF there though. :-)

Thank you for the wonderful coments! I'll pass on the hello's. They live in a very temperate and wonderful climate where they grow nuts and pomegranite. 110F was a big change for me, my yearly warm up.

Thanks Cat. It was very hot, but I loved every minute. I am used to my cool too. Getting home was refreshing.

Found the flower name, it is mules-ear balsamroot, a wyethia, close relative to balsamorhiza both in the Helianthus family.
