Libertia peregrinans 'Goldfinger'

It looks like a Cordyline i have Spritz called 'Torbay Dazzler'...This is really nice..:>)

It's a lot smaller than a Cordyline, Motinot. Its colour intensifies as the weather gets colder - I haven't seen its flowers yet, though. :-)

Perhaps next summer Spritz...:>)

I hope so - the other Libertia I have has such beautiful flowers!

i have an all green one and it is gorgeous. lets hope this doesnt let you down. love the colour of the foliage.

i have the Libertia pereginans and love it, I like the leaf colour on that one :)

I have this it does take a long time to flower, my daughter has a lovely bronze one, hoping to split it next year, husband tried taking the seeds, it grew but looks nothing like the parent plant.

Patience is everything Spritz. It propogates itself by underground runners but as for flowering, I'm not sure!

A good alternative to a grass. Mine is the plain green one and flowers really well every year...also not tasty to the chickens so they leave it alone!

Thanks, Bamboo. Do you know any other Libertias? I've got L. grandiflora and L. caerulescens. White flowers and pale blue respectively! Evergreen, so useful all year round. :-)

Nope, the whole family's new to me. I've probably seen them before, but for some reason, I'm always drawn to variegated plants, especially if they're stripey! It's gone in my favourites to remind me for next year

The flowers are in clusters on tall stems, and very pretty. I leave the seedheads on, as well! The L.caerulescens didn't flower last year, so I haven't got a photo of it, but I have of the other one.

Anyone know if there is a difference between 'Gold Stripe' and 'Goldfinger' ?
Also, 'Taupo Blaze' might be worth looking for, have seen it around quite a lot in garden centres recently.

'I've just googled 'Taupo Blaze' and it looks great! Love it! :-)) On my wish-list.
