Yes, so romantic.. Lol.

I don't understand the comment from TT but I do understand your pic of a cold and frosty morning. Are you sure that this is your garden and not the local park!
9 Nov, 2009
Well Toto, TT kindly pointed out that our 2 robin pics on the general photo section were kissing but when I went to look the photos werent together so when I added this pic later it nudged them along so they were back together :-)
Yep, this is my garden Toto, the bridge is the start of the woodland bit going from the garden - you can see why I need help, from a gardener, hint, hint.

Yes I understand. What a wonderful challenge though. I'm sure you will conquer as required.

We'll see .... a kind of labour of love

Quite so.

You love it Dawn......Get your clobber on and get out there.....Best time to do it is now, ha ha It will keep you warm......It looks beautiful.......

I know, I know. That's not the dreaded brook that I'm always falling in, its just the over-spill ditch from the pond. I must try the waders on .... missing them, ha ha.

What a lovely part of the garden, how large is it overall ?
10 Nov, 2009
We have about 3 acres in total Louise but two thirds of it is woodland and pond. I wish I had more time to keep on top of things though.

Hmmm, that amount of garden needs you to be full time out there doesn't it ;-)
9-5 every day !!!
Suggest to him indoors that he pays you to do that ;-))
A decent salary of course ;-))

What a great garden you must have...........

Thanks Holly.
You're right Louise, I think it needs x2 people, full time for it to be perfect.
I spend almost all my spare time out there though cos I love it. Good idea about being paid, I'll suggest it to hubby.

it looks lovely dawn, i think its nice having a woodland area, wish it was mine :o)))

Thanks Sandra - now the trees are getting bigger its looking quite good. It is nice to walk around with Bonnie :-)
10 Nov, 2009
i bet it is dawn, how nice to have this to walk round, only takes me 5 mins to walk round mine lol ;o) you must get so much wildlife here to
10 Nov, 2009
Lots of wildlife and different birds around Sandra :-) We have a mown path that weaves to and fro between the trees, so it takes me and Bonnie about 15 minutes to walk around, as long as we dont stop, taking photos, ha ha.

wonderfull dawn, lovely in the summer to, do you ever have a picnic near the pond in summer, think i would if i lived there ;o) all that peace and quiet
10 Nov, 2009
Never have time Sandra, ha ha. We do have a mown area nestled amongst some trees, that is totally private and sheltered. We've got the chiminea in there and bigs logs to sit on, nice in summer and also nice on a frosty night.

sounds fab dawn ;o))
10 Nov, 2009
Its wonderful, love area s like this.
11 Nov, 2009
Dawn to have all that space round you is something special , that feeling of freedom the wildlife , nobody wants that perfect it would spoil the nature of things ... enjoy what you have ... I know that you do ... xx
11 Nov, 2009
You're right, you know I do Amy :-)
If it was too tidy, the wildlife wouldnt benefit the same, would they. The base of the trees are a bit messy with dead grass but that's where the mice nest. Another nice thing is the privacy, I can lose myself all day and not see a sole.
11 Nov, 2009
That's the nicest feeling in the world Dawn .. to be at peace with yourself :o)
