Thanks Louise - was some new bulbs we put in this year, although I've got to admit lillies seem to do better in tubs than in the open ground here. We planted all last years stunning blooms into the open ground & hardly any of them flowered this year, so guess we'll be digging them up (if they've not rotted) & put back into tubs again for next year. Perhaps they like compost / soil which is well drained.
