Do you see that pink colouring of the worm round its body on the left? It's a reproductive organ, the ring-shaped clitellum so-called "pack saddle" , which produces a cocoon that stores and nourishes fertilized eggs until they hatch.

I didn't know that either Uma, So when I accidently chop them up when im digging, Sob Sob, if the pink rings there ive really chopped up Hundreds :(((
