Did they replace lawn with gravel ?
What is under the gravel, please ?

Hi TT - it used to be a small lawn before & has thick weed control under the gravel. Most are sunken tubs (helps keep the roots cool in summer). It's the most colourful front garden in the street.

I'm sure it is the most wonderful garden for miles around!
By thick weed control... do you mean a type of membrane please ?

Yes - a good thick one. (not the thin ones you buy but the kind of canvasy ones.)

I can believe it is the most colourful garden in the street TCG. It's beautiful. 200 roses on two allotments!! I would love to see those. :o)
