Aloe 'Hercules' (Aloe 'Hercules')

I wen to Quail Botanical Garden today (Dec.1, 2009) and took
many photos. The first is a hybrid called Hercules Aloe which
is a fast growing tree aloe...unfortunately, it wasn't blooming yet.

Is the Botanical Garden named Quail from the bird ?
I looked on internet but couldn't see explanation of title.

Yes, it is...Quail is the state bird of California and
there are many here.
