Lovely Simbad. I especially like the lavender coloured one.
They do suffer from powdery mildew Amy.....some varieties more than others. With mine the mildew usually hits after the flowers have finished so I end up cutting it right back to the ground .... doesn't seem to mind that treatment.

Thanks everyone,these were just in my nursery bed waiting for new home,all planted out this autumn.
Yes these got mildew too Amy :- ( but as Gilli says not till they finished flowering, I tend to do the same cut down after flowering.

I like the Monarda but find that they always seem to go mouldy ( is that the right word ) towards the end of the season .......
