There's many Anthurium species growing at Quail
Botanical Gardens...however, most in nature grow
as epiphytes in the trees. : > )

When Anthuriums are grown outside here...they must be planted in a semi-shady to shady spot or
they'll sun-burn badly.

I wonder if I could plant it outside in summer under those conditions?

Dottydaisy2:
It will grow outside in summer as long as you have enough heat for them to bloom and grow. The optimum
temps for Anthurium to grow is between 68F/ 20C (lowest at night) - 85F / 29C. (during the day or higher)

Well I will give it a try, as they say nothing ventured....

I'm sure it will do well for you. : > )
