Old apple trees

These trees probably grew from the pips of a fallen apple. They were all twisted together. I thought they were quite lovely, all hugging each other like the family they were. Graves Island Provincial Park, NS

Brilliant ! I wonder if they 'talk' to each other when the wind blows ? (If you've walked through a wood on a windy day, you'll know what I mean) :~)
