Just love this Pitta. Where did you get your hoyas? ... I've had so much trouble trying to find them in the nurseries down here in Townsville! I've found one poor little specimen but that's it!

Bernieh .it was 15 years since I bought a few .I got them from Mareeba, a nursery called LIDDLE'S HOYA NURSERY . I heard that that the owner died but it was to be kept going by his wife. I think his name was David Liddle and he was concidered a world expert on Hoya . they had hundreds of different species and they sent their plants in small pots. What is happening now I don't know . If you google Liddle's nursery Mareeba you should get a result.

I have a pinkish coloured one in my greenhouse which flowers every year. It is nicely scented and the necta forms in globules which you can taste. It's very sweet. Yours is a beauty and so tall.

I think we are very spoilt with plants that grow imn the garden or up trees in the tropics.
