I'm testing my new beautiful camera tonight...which was given to me by Santa Claus. LOL! It's a high quality Nikon camera...I love it!!! By the way, this is my Persian Palm Elephant Ear plant in my front yard. Photo taken Dec. 21, 2009.

I love the Nikon camera so far. : > ) Santa just brought it to me yesterday...and I haven't read the very big book that came with it yet. I'll let you know. Unfortunately, I will have to keep taking pics for GoY in 5 megapixels because the high 12 megapixals setting would never be able to be uploaded because of the exremely large file size...or I'll have to compress them before uploading.
With the new camera I'll be able to take much better zoom pics. This means I can finally take photos of the canyons around here which have wild stands of big blooming agave, palms, eucalyptus, succulents and grevillea.

Ar a very big book then ... What telephoto lens do you have and are they easy to interchange ?
Do you shoot in RAW as well as jpeg

How are you finding it ?? I was looking at getting the D3000 next are they easy to use ?
