It's only a baby Louise, about 7-8 years old, extremely slow growing, about 1 inch per year.

this is lovely for the rockery blue,, will this stay small?

Will certainly stay small Sandra, this one only grows about 1" per year, and is absolutely ideal for a sunny well drained rockery.

You won't be able to get it anywhere, if that's what you're thinking Sandra ?

oh noo, why is that blue?

It's one of those conifers discovered as a witches' broom, that only circulates between other collectors around Europe. Very few of these types of conifers ever find their way into commercial production.

I like the shape, form and colour of that, is it very mature ?
A lot of the conifers i like seem to be quite slow growing.
