'Sling' for Phalaenopsis flower spikes

I've made these gentle slings for two flower spikes in an attempt to halt their downward mission!

Well done, Jenny - and thanks for the photo. Don't worry too much about supporting those stems - the pot looks pretty sturdy - I don't think they'll topple it over.

This looks a nice plant Jenny, I think all gardeners have to do a bit of nursing at times.

I'm no expert, but is it possible that there is a bit of a draught around that window that the stems are avoiding?
I must admit though, that I personally prefer them on arching stems.
