Pitta:
This palm looks like Ptychosperma macarthurii - Macarthur Palm or Darwin Palm...which is native to Northern Australia. : > )

I must ask John the man who comes to do gardening for me . I am not educated much to palm . I bought 12 MACARTHURI palms from him and most are down my driveway . he sells potted plants mostly native trees.

Pitta:
There's many species of Ptychosperma. However, the ones that are native to Northern Australia are Ptychosperma macarthurii (very common) and Ptychosperma bleeseri which is very rare.
