The pond is frozen but the brook's still flowing

One corner of our pond always remains un-frozen in winter, Dawn but this winter, it has frozen right over. Today, I had to melt the ice away from that corner, where I could see some frogs, apparently trying to get some fresh air.

So pleased you noticed the pond was completely frozen over Jbardet .... the frogs must have appreciated your rescue too.
