Your snow looks really thick, nothing like that here yet.

Tell me about it Gee, alot of it gone but it is like glass to walk on, Blackpool have run out of grit aswell, but there again we never hardly get snow here and when it does normaly comes and goes the same day.

We've had a lovely layer of snow over last night and again this morning. I have been out tobogganing with my daughter and grandchildren. Hilliarious - and I came back with all my limbs intact, which was an added bonus! Nothing but main roads gritted in our area. I was expecting a new fridge (!) to be delivered today but they couldn't get here. Maybe tomorrow, they say!

No, it hasn't, Clarice! They got to within 7 miles or so of our village and turned back. Can't say I blame them, we went out this morning to Asda (about 5-6 miles away) and the roads weren't brilliant but managed to buy essentials as our local shop keeps running out.

My asda is just round the corner from me, i can wall in 2-3mins. Let us know when you get it.....

They hope to deliver next Wednesday, Clarice, have just received a phone call.
