Ctenanthe 'Golden Mosaic' is a common grown cover which can grows to around 5 feet / 1.5 meter tall. It usually grows in semi-shaded areas. Photo taken at Quail Botanical Gardens on Jan. 5, 2010.

I'm so glad I don't have gophers. I know they can take down some pretty large trees, sometimes.

I might have not said that right-lol. Sorry. I meant the biggest Ctenanthe clump will be eaten in days. I had years of growth pulled under before I noticed near the back of my yard.
