My daughter passed this on to me and, apart from occasional watering, I have left it to its own devices! It seems to be doing OK in spite of that. Hopefully, Hywel, you may be able to identify it for me :)

It's a type of Cereus. Difficult to tell the species, but it is a type of Cereus.

It does look to be holding its own. I think this is just the one I recently acquired as well. I love the bunch of spikes at the tips.
