Its a name I acquired as a child Sixpence. My name is Louise and my sister has called me Loobyloo from a very early age. I think it originates from the children's book Pippi Longstocking which has a character called Loobyloo if I remember correctly. :0)

I remember it from Watch with Mother Loobyloo in Andy Pandy here we go loobyloo, here we go Loobylie here we go Loobyloo upon a Saturday night lol.

I'm dancing along to your words Sixpence. LOL. I remember a little but not the detail. Was it a character or just a jingle? Can you remember Sixpence? I know I should know really.

Thank you so much Sixpence, I absolutely loved watching it. I wasn't even a twinkle in my mother's eye when this programme hit the screen but think I must have seen a repeat at some point in time. :-))))

Great shot Loobee, I know Alderly Edge Im a Lancashire Lass but was brought up around Manchester , we used to go for days out on the train, lovely memories!

Thats the best place to be Loobee, the best views of my garden are from inside the greenhouse...Lol!

I'm a Manchester Lass too PP but now live in Cheshire. I love the countryside but also miss the city. U can take the girl out of the city but you can't take the city out of the girl. :-)

Janey, make sure you put your scarf and mitts on in the greenhouse, as more snow is forecast. :0)
