Clinging Juniper

To highlight a few real troopers, this juniper has been hanging on the bryce canyon rim edge for a really, really long time, I love twisted desert survivors like this.

Thank you. Definately a work of art. I'm always on the lookout for that lone twisted desert tree because it reminds me of classic southwest art. I'm glad you have enjoyed them Robert. A good warm up from these cold days. :-)

Superb photo! It's always amazes how nature works...it looks like this juniper would have fallen off the side of this cliff years ago.

Thank you. Glad you like. It think it clinging with just enough root to support these last bits of green growth. Such a testiment to life's tenacity.
